The employees and auditors of Raffles International Certification:

• will not advertise, commit to, guarantee, or imply the outcome of the audits or certification services on the basis of financial or other incentives.

• will act impartially and shall not allow commercial, financial, or other pressures to compromise impartiality.

• are independent of any other economic operator having an interest in the product being audited, tested, or certified, as well as any other competitor of the organization.

• will not offer or provide or refer, or have offered or provided or referred, internal audits to RIC certified clients. have not and will not certify a management system on which they have provided internal audits within two years following the end of the internal audits.

•  not to certify a management system or product, on which a client has received consultancy or internal audits, where the relationship between the consultancy organization and RIC poses an unacceptable risk to the impartiality of RIC.

• will not market or offer RIC services as being linked with activities of an organization that provides management system consultancy. RIC will take action to correct inappropriate claims by any consultancy organization stating or implying that certification would be simpler, easier, faster, less expensive, or related terms if a specified consultancy organization were used.

• will not will reveal any situation known to them that can present them or RIC with a conflict of interest.
